Club Outing – White River

The September Club Outing is scheduled for the White River, September 9-11, 2022.
Start making your plans for this one. This is the most attended event we have as a Club.
We are hoping “The Rusty Hook Diner” will be there. 
This is primitive camping. Camping is free, firewood is provided.
Some members come down and stay in nearby hotels for a day or two.
There are plenty of Hotels, close by. We can get you that info for reservations. 
The Comfort Inn has been the choice for Don Privett and Brad Sherrick in the past.
Derby City Fly Fishers will be with us again this year.
We will spot you from Yorktown to Canoe Country.
We will spot you from either of the Iron Bridges to Canoe Country.
We will spot you from Canoe Country to the west side of Anderson.
You need to let us know in advance for spotting.
Steve, Ron, and I have passed out White River maps for many years.
These maps are marked up where Steve Harris, Ron Dixon, and I have fished for years.
Ron and I will have copies at the August Club outing and the White River outing.
We will do our best to put you on Smallmouth.
There are boat ramps on the river. Most of the river is wadeable.

If you are planning on camping let us no for sure. Ron, Kevin, and I are going down the week before and making sure we have plenty of camping areas ready.
